LEADER BOARD

How it works

First of all, this is a global leaderboard, with positions based on points

I will keep the old medal system only for “cups” and “events”, so then, there are 2 systems

• Cups points
• And global score

Cups points

Each kind of medal gives to the user points

3 points for gold

2 points for silver

1 point for bronze

This count is only for events and cups

Global score

Each map has a valua in points, depending on the participation

This score can grow from 5000 to unlimited, the value is calculated with this formula

Map value = 5000 * Math.ceil(Math.log10(NUMBER_OF_PLAYERS)/Math.log10(Math.sqrt(10)))

The points are distributed in this way

User1 gets rank1 on map1

User1 has 5000 points

User2 gets rank2 on map1

Its points are calculated with reference to the time distance with the rank1

If rank1 get 100% of 5000 with a time of 1:00:00 (1 minute)

Then we get the minimum lap time to get points

The minimum time to get points is 50% more than the rank1

In this example,

1:30:00 will get 0 points

So, 1:15:00 will get 50% of points 2500

And 1.01:00 will get 99% of points 4999

Besides this points, we have also trophies (not implemented)

When an event ends, there are 3 trophies for the top 3 winners

10000         Gold trophy

5000         Silver trophy

1000         Bronze trophy

So the global leaderboard will have the sum of map rankings, and trophies
